a weekend, a five day vacation or a month long excursion.
The right suitcase. The right material. Clothing suitable for Hawaii
is all about what is comfortable in a tropical environment. The
average daytime summer temperature at sea level is 85 degrees F. (29.4
C) while the average daytime winter temperature is 78 degrees (25.6 C).
Temperatures at night are approximately 10 degrees F. lower. If
you are planning to go upcountry to the top of the volcanoes be prepared
to bring a sweater, coat, sweat shirt, etc. With altitude the
temperature drops. For example, at the top of Haleakela National Park at
10,000 feet above sea level it's going to be cold.
